Very few people have seen this view of the venerable P-40, and the mind's eye tries to fill in not only the famous colors and markings but the missing parts, most of which are now in the paint shop for priming.It's hard for anyone who hasn't actually worked on aircraft (especially vintage warbirds), to grasp the sheer number of bits and pieces that make up these machines.
